Yesterday I made what I think is my last visit to the county Health Department to pick up the last of David's WIC vouchers. This is the waiting room; there is a helpful poster reminder about asking about the presence of guns in homes where the kids play, just like we would ask about supervision, eating candy and watching TV. We have failed to do this consistently thus far, though we know many/most folks up here have a firearm.
